Hi,

I am working on a PG SQL function to enable / disable a street from a network if there is too much rain water in the road and it also depends on what type of vehicle the driver has.

At the moment I am giving limits to the type of vehicle :

Private Car : 35cm
Light Good Vehicle : 40cm
Heavy Good vehicle : 50cm
Public Transport : 45cm

So first thing is that I am coparing the rain level with the hard coded limits, and if the rain level goes above I do not include the road in the routing

However, we all know that if 10mm of rain dropped on an area, there will be more collected rain water in a valley (point with low Z location (altitude)) rather than a higher point.

What do you suggest I do so I know if the point is in a valley? Remember it can be that the road is in a low altitude but its a plane - thus rain water will not be such a problem.

Suggestions are welcome

Thanks
